Spotlight on the environment

R-SPACE

The Cape Floral Kingdom in South Africa has one of the greatest biodiversities in the world, but is also being threatened at an alarming rate by alien invasive plant species.

In a country with over 33% unemployment, removing these aliens could mean great things for creating jobs and cleaning up this precious natural resource.

In August 2021, Eva Giliam spent a few weeks with R-SPACE Co- founder Jan Vingerhoets, and his collaborators to make this film.
